It's great that you like animals... but please make sure to do research on everything so you can give them the best life. A lot of pet stores and sites trying to sell stuff give really bad advice because that's how they make their money... And buying a pet because it looks cool on ticktock isn't exactly the best reason for getting a companion- also a lot of the pets on ticktock are not cared for properly

Ecosphere is one of my favorite hobbys so when i saw this i was OMG THAT WAS COOL Or thats what u think the shrimp in there is just waiting to die because im not sure about shrimp but ecoshepee is supposde to be live with bacterias that you will watch progress in your ecosphere not live fish some fish might survive but that doesnt mean they can breed they can barely SURVIVE i might be a boomer but at lease i can warn to the people who are still learning and are planning to do this if u wanna try ecosphere try, just do reseaech first bedore doing anything crazy

I had the same ecosphere and it lasted me about 1.5yrs. The algae grows fast of kept by the sunshine like a ball of hair. Such a cool thing to have!!

Algae wouldn't be sufficient. There needs to be lots of dense planting for this to work, and the amount of shrimp will produce too much waste in such a small space.

I remember when I was a kid, my mum bought me one of these closed ecospheres and i adored it. Then she invited one of her friends and her sons over. When they came they shook the sphere killing all the shrimp inside it. I tried stopping them and i never really forgave them. I asked my mum if she could ever buy another one but she said she couldn't find it. Finally i can own one of these again.
