You should stand the pothos with about an inch of pot in the water, it will help with preventing the algae growth.

I've seen some suggestions about a vibrating toothbrush and that's a good idea, but also would recommend to just keep up with the cleaning on their shells taking a while prolly hardened it making it impossible to remove

Stop buying so many turtles, not a good idea and they need a lot of space, you can’t just throw them into the black tub once the baby turtles from the blue poool grow. I enjoy your videos but just some advice.

I would not have done that in the new pool since the silicon still needs to be put in there, it might not seal all the way now with water n algae being in it . I would use a nail brush with a lil bit of dawn or Johnson n Johnson baby shampoo then make sure you rinse it all off

Try warm water and a bar of Zote soap.

if the algea is slimey and nasty you should slowly work to clean it off over time. 2 or 3 minutes at a time. 1 or 2 times a week so you dont stress them out. if it is cold outside it is probably why. it is keeping them warm. it will naturally come off as whatever it is causing the issue getts resolved. its not a bad thing unless its slimey or it continues for too long cause it can make their shell soften and start to rot.

I do this to scrub algae of rocks but what i do is i use like running water directly onto the part im scrubbing and it makes it easy to get the algae of compared to your method plus for big shells i recommend like the thing used to scrub ur toilet

You shouldn’t drop turtles in water because they might breath in water when you put them in so put them on land then let them go in the water themselves
