Sounds like he asked them to put the overflow pipe in last minute. Im curious what the plan is on filtration. Wouldnt it be ideal to have threaded bulk heads out the side for inlet and outlet the way most larger filters would work.

have never seen such an unprofessional concrete pond, where are the underground pipes for filtering? Where is the skimmer? Where does the filter system go? It's just a big hole that is filled with water

Me personally I would have had a 3-4 inch over flow probably would of had 2 of them on each side tbh

Love it but could be cheaper if you build a wooden one with pond liner including a glass / or acrylic viewing panel. Much cheaper and easily be removable in the future.
